14/09/04 Late summer view of the Biomes.  A rain forest tree canopy exploring device.

 

14/09/04 Time for some more Earth moving around the lake, this maybe in preparation for the covered ice rink - rumoured to be opening in November. More on this story later. The pasty hut is being moved out of the way as the Pasty Pod is now open in the Link Building.

 

14/09/04 Last bit of construction news today, this is the new home for the staff of Eden. Not seen by the visitors as it hides behind the Biome Link Building, but is going to take the place of many temporary porta cabins and will offer much welcomed facilities.

 

14/09/04 In the HTC 'Tree Canopy Season' is getting under way with many new exhibits.

09/09/04 Kind cut through bridge, use it if you dare.  Eden inspires many artists with it's ever-changing panorama.

 

09/09/04 The  Education Resources Centre is taking shape quickly and already looking interesting.

 

09/0904 Dome tent with a strange green inflatable on the Arena lawn, no it's not a bouncy castle. I believe it has something to do with 'tree canopy investigation'. The Lake has been drained so some work can be carried out on it's foundations. Original construction of the lake pictures

 

01/09/04 Wild Cornwall, when you visit Eden take the time to walk up to the top and view the extraordinary panorama.

 

01/09/04 Just some of the amazing things to find up in Myths and Folklaw.

 

01/09/04 Prairie blooming.  Wild Cornwall - Myths and Folklaw.

 

01/09/04 View from the grand steps, the plants of the Prairie surround you with their colour as you stroll up to Wild Cornwall.

 

01/09/04 Park and ride entrance.  Lorry departs with the stage form the Arena.  The Dome tent will shortly be erected in place of the stage, this will hold new exhibits.

 

27/08/04 Womad 2004 at Eden 'A Summer's Night of Music'

Starting the evening on the Arena stage was 'Show of Hands' a firm favourite at Eden.

 

27/08/04 In the WTB 'Asere' and 'Laye Sow' performed during the evening to a delighted audience. The vocal and guitar sounds floated round the Biome.

 

27/08/04 Following a wet, drizzly day the evening was dry with plenty of natural celestial light.

 

27/08/04 In the link building Dreadzone Sound System was in action from 8 to 12 pm

 

 27/08/04 Next on the main Arena stage was 'Susana Baca' Susana's beautiful and emotive voice expresses the soul of black Peru, African rhythms with a touch of Spanish, unique music.

 

27/08/04 'The Cat Empire' rounded off the evening at between 11pm and 12pm, some amazing large scale projections onto the rock wall, added to the atmosphere of the evening.

 

27/08/04 Magical Biomes marvellous music and a dramatic moonlit sky brings this season of the Eden Sessions to a close.  Many thanks to everyone concerned especially the hard working staff, many of whom stayed on after a full days work to act as stewards and help with the clearing up procedures.

 

20/08/04 Visitors arriving as the gates open at 19:00, some find their way to the comfort zone and partake in some relaxing bubble therapy.

 

20/08/04 Some of the party goer's enjoy a beer and a chat, others head for the link building to listen to the Dreadzone sound system. All the Biomes remained open until 22:00 on this eventful evening.

 

20/08/04 Floating overhead was the Canopy balloon, more about this event later The first band on were 'Thirteen Senses' Late starting & early finishing, but a great band.

 

20/08/04 The Beta Band were next, I understand this was their last gig together. Some of the crowds at the stage front where the atmosphere was throbbing.

 

20/08/04 Supergrass live on stage at Eden's 10th session.  About 4000 were on site enjoyed a truly professional performance. It was another sell out concert.

   

20/08/04 Another magical night at Eden.
