01/04/06 Welcome to Eden's Bulb Mania and Eggstravaganza, visitors flock in on this sunny morning and short queues appear along The Street, which is scented with the distinctive fragrance of hyacinths.

01/04/06 It's The Great Eden Eggstravaganza on Eden's very own village green. A series of challenges for your rubber eggs that you can collect on your way in, It's all Free. Pick up a map and you're off on a egg hunt all over Eden.  Find an egg read the clue and punch your card.

 

01/04/06 Beat an Egg with a baseball bat, Fish an Egg, it's harder then it looks.

 

01/04/06 It's really for kids, but mums and dads are enjoying it just as much.

 

01/04/06 I'm off on the Egg hunt, now somewhere up in Folklaw and Myths, there it is!

 

01/04/06 Inside the box there is a clue and a stamp, mark your scoring card.

 

01/04/06 The eggs are well hidden all over Eden and in the biomes, but no more picture clues you must come and find them yourself!

 

01/04/06 Work on the Arena continues apace and everything will soon be emerald green again.

 

 

 

28/03/06 The tulip display in the WTB is now at its best.

28/03/06 The new friends desk in the link building where you can join as a friend or gift aid your entry ticket and have free entry for a year.  (Note, advance tickets not bought from Eden can be upgraded for £3 to yearly entry)

 

28/03/06 Test trials of a new misting system for the Biome by 'Fogco'

28/03/06 A new exhibit under construction in the WTB, visitors ask questions as to what it will be.  It's about different plant production methods I understand.

 

18/03/06 Part of the spring bulb display is open under the Ice rink canopy.

 

15/03/06 The Bulb festival will be in full swing shortly, a million bulbs in bloom.

 

15/03/06 Drifts of golden daffodils, and banks of Narcissus 'Finland'

 

15/03/06 Rings of daffodils and tulips,  high up in Folklaw and Myths crocus adorn the granite wall tops.

 

15/03/06 All hands are on deck to get the Bulb Mania festival display ready.  Thousands of potted bulbs in full bloom are being assembled ready to take their place in the display.

10/03/06 Spring is seriously getting ready to burst into flower at Eden.

 

10/03/06 Dublin has everything in hand concerning the creation of the children's garden, which is situated to the rear of the Core Building.  The garden should be ready by Easter.

 

10/03/06 The Arena resembles a building site at present but will soon be one of the best places to experience a live band once again. Magic Numbers, Goldfrapp and Snow Patrol are just some of the performances to look forward to this summer.

 

10/03/06 Exhibition of Fair trade products in the Core Building.

 

02/03/06 A hint of snow around this morning, but the sun is getting stronger down here in Cornwall and it had all melted by lunch time.

 

02/03/06 Crocus with a touch of ice, talking of ice, percussion drills are in use to chip out 6 inch chunks of frozen ice rink. This area will all be included in the Bulb Mania display, which will commence shortly at Eden.

 

25/02/06 The bulb show is starting and should be in full swing by early March.

 

25/02/06 Eden in early spring, the wind is cold, but the sun is warm, the biomes are tropical.

 

25/02/06 Last skate for 2006 tomorrow  26th February 3pm  Quick Time Movie.

Masses of bulbs  planted in boxes are going to give an amazing display shortly.

 

24/02/06 A lot of construction work is in progress around the site over the next few weeks, however none of that should disrupt the enjoyment of your visit to Eden.  The Arena is having a makeover with extra steps being added to allow easier access for those attending The Sessions

 

24/02/06 The new steps down to the Arena, it will make lots more room for the Sessions.

 

24/02/06 The skating rink is well used and will be open until Saturday 26th. Willy about to recycle something in the WTB, no wonder my camera fogged up!

 

18/02/06 Final late evening opening for 'The Time of Gifts'  Heros in the WTB

 

18/02/06 The Skating Rink remains open in the day time until the 25th February. The Every Day Hero Band starts the evening in the Warm Temperate Biome.

 

18/02/06 'Angel Tongue',  are taken a bit by surprise by my mega flash!

 

18/02/06 The last lantern parade of 2006 gets underway.

 

18/02/05 With one of the longest lantern walk of heros of the season, it all comes to an end with the fire finale.

 

18/02/06 Skipping into spring, the crocus display has started to bloom alongside the grand steps and interesting wooden percussion sculptures are waiting to be gently tapped.
