03/10/01 Founder friends were welcomed to a Drinks and Japanese Sushi evening. The International Rice Research Institute gave an illustrated talk on rice production.
03/10/01 Sushi preparing demonstration, friends watched as rice and uncooked really fresh fish were assembled into Sushi.

Here's a colourful verity of the little fellow I was looking for last evening. Thank you to Fotogram-stone images for this scan. This is the only frog I found to photograph at Eden.
31/08/01 Couldn't find a tree frog, but this might be an impression of one travelling at high speed to get away from the TV cameras this morning! shame the bamboo was in the way.
31/08/01 On my hunt for a tree frog Friday evening I found a White Eye high up in the tree canopy, not easy to photograph. A friendly wagtail poses for the camera on the giant lily pad.

31/08/01 Tree frogs released to help control some of the pests and give a natural background sound in the HTB. I'm going to see if I can catch them on film this evening, in the meantime thank you to the BBC news live from Eden for these screen shots.
