30/03/04 Eden team hard at work plastering the rice wall with mud in the HTB

30/03/04 'Dublin' well pleased with his wall although it's now under piles of slapped on mud.

24/03/04 This is 'Dublin' and in his honour the new rice wall carries his name. Dublin, has been working in and around Eden from the very start of construction and you'll find him pictured on many pages of my pictorial diary of Eden.

24/03/04 Blooms in the WTB I don't yet know the name of the red one. The delicate blue flower is 'Babiana Anqusfifolia'

24/03/04 A multitude of daffodils continue to flower at 'Bulb Mania'

24/03/04 The diggers are well and truly at work on the site of the education building.

18/03/04 Coco Plum Chrysobalanaceae Chrysobalanus icaco Originating from tropical South America, this small tree is now found naturalised on the seashores throughout the tropics. It is cultivated locally for the delicious kernels inside the fruit. see it in the HTB now in fruit.

16/03/04 Now this is some job for an artist, the entire boundary fence around the new building works, where the education building is under construction.

16/03/04 The art work is well worth seeing, take look when you visit.

16/03/04 Jill planting seeds as the vegetable growing season commences. Follow the progress of her labours (on this site) as the garden flourishes over the summer months.

09/03/04 Shades of yellow flowing down the hillside. The air is fragrant with petal perfume, as the gentle breezes carry the pollens aloft, where else could I be but Eden.

09/03/04 George at work refurbishing the hemp rope sculptures, it's fascinating to watch.

09/03/04 Display and exhibition of bulb growing in the pod building. A delightful display of multi coloured tulips in the WTB.

09/03/04 Glorious sunshine, but even with the cool breeze a grand day to visit.

05/03/04 Tables all set for a Champagne Lunch for Founder and Life long friends of Eden

to launch Eden's First Spring Bulb Festival.

05/03/04 Tim, just arrived back in the UK after a visit to the Galapagos Islands. Many old friends of Eden including Jonathan Ball and his family. Jonathan and Tim, the co founders of The Eden Project.

05/03/04 Sue Minter, head of the Living Collection with some of the founder and life long friends of Eden. Jim Hosking, has presented Eden with a new verity of daffodil called

'Eden Gold' not only has it an amazing colour but a perfume as well. Jim's Web site link

05/03/04 Dave Meneer, Jonathan Ball, Mike Petty and Mavis

05/03/04 The Smell of 'Eden Gold' and a glass or two of Camel Valley bubbly make a good combination, all bred, grown and brewed here in Cornwall. Camel Valley Web link.
