25/08/03 The finale of this years Eden Sessions with a day of the Zest of the West music festival with loads of band and singers with their roots in the South West of England, finishing with  Show of hands and Ralph Mctell on the main stage.

Zest of the West music festival at Eden.

 

25/08/03 Show of Hands in the WTB 12 pm performance - they are on the main stage tonight.

 

23/08/03 A performance by the Biome link building on the Womad night.

 

23/08/03 Near perfect weather condition on Womad night at Eden, it was a warm and starlit evening.  Some 4000 attended and performances were held in the HTB and the WTB as well as on the main stage in the Arena and by and inside the link building.

 

17/08/03 Sunday afternoon at Eden - The Orchids shelf in the Eden tropical plant shop.

05/08/03 Moby live on stage at Eden another magical evening session, around 4000 attended.

 

01/07/03 Thousands enjoyed a sell out evening on a magical night at the 1st Eden Session.  The artists were introduced by Tim Smit himself - It was musically magnificent - well done Eden!

 

01/08/03 Lots on new things to see and do at Eden come and see for yourself.

 

01/08/03 Here's something else to discover as you walk around,  plants for tomorrows industries. This one is foot on, rather then hands on experience - come and give it a go.

01/08/03 Sunny day at Eden.  Remember the star, a few pictures back, well here it is getting the treatment in a new massive weaving of trees and willow.

 

01/08/03 Stage is set for to nights gig - hope to bring you a picture later this evening.

 

30/07/03 Test firing of some pyrotechnics for the Eden Sessions - first picture was taken through the biome skin when the flames were really going by the time I got outside it was coming to an end - should be fun and hot stuff on the night!

 

30/07/03 The stage is nearly set for the first session of the season on Friday 'Badly Drawn Boy'

The stage this year is built almost entirely over the lake this gives a lot more room.

 

Thank you to Juergen from Germany for these two pictures, the first one was taken whilst flying  Ryan Air from Stanstead to Cornwall and the lavender fields at Eden when he landed!

25/07/03 A star is born, in the WTB lawn. Mechanical futurelistic looking bees patrol over the heads of visitors in the Zubb Zubb cafe.  Keep your heads down when eating!

 

25/07/03 Every ones making a bee line for the sunflowers - now in  full bloom!

 

25/07/03 No it's not a surfing competition, it's the stage riggers doing the impossible, building a stage mostly in the water of the Eden lake.  I guess this is to leave more room free around the Arena for people to see the acts on the stage. Moby on 5th August!

  

25/07/03 Bee in the flowers - Start of the Moby stage being build, mostly in the Lake?

 

25/07/03 To the surprise of visitors a full grown crocodile travelled over their heads on it's way to the lake.  How do you handle a hungry croc?  with a lot of care!

 

25/07/03 Well here he is 'the croc' tail connected and ready to eat any stray pasties that might come his way.  Feeling quite happy next to the lake--come and meet him now!

 

15/07/03 Join in the fun with 'The Eden Theatre Company' you never know what may happen!

 

15/07/03 Some poor innocent member of the public just about to get conned into helping in the act, but all good Eden fun! At least I didn't have to wear a lampshade!

15/07/03 Heavy duty power connection being installed next to the Arena to supply the power for Toby and other performances this summer - Olives trees outside Moroccan restaurant.
