25/03/05 Easter sunshine at Eden on Good Friday. The first hint of blue is showing on the Link building roof, eventually this will give the illusion of a waterfall flowing from the roof.
19/03/05 Competitors queuing to register for the abseil from the bridge. A sunny spring day at Eden
Colour Explosion is about to be declared open by Rolf Harris, the crowd awaits his arrival.
19/03/05 Tim introduced Rolf - a parade of the colour suites followed.
19/03/05 After a short story on the excitement of colour, Rolf declared the exhibits open.
19/03/05 Paint ball guns at the ready, no age limit here, and every one wants a go.
19/03/05 No shortage of colour in this department either as cabbages and broomsticks are employed to apply the paint, a little less hectic than the paint ball firing range!

19/03/05 Hundreds abseiled from the bridge to raise money for St Julia's Hospice, Hayle and Mount Edgcumbe Hospice St Austell. I understand Tim tried his hand at this but unfortunately I was not there to bear witness.
19/03/05 Just a quick peak into the Dome tent because this is something you have got come and experience for yourself. There are rooms that are entirely one colour, floor, walls and ceiling, when you enter a room you are entirely saturated in that colour (not for the squeamish)
19/03/05 First picture the Yellow room (you may have guessed that) and Red room I forgot to mention, there mirrors in the rooms too, so you could see someone like you, very full of colour.
17/03/05 As Eden celebrates it's 4th birthday Bulb Mania and Colour Explosion get underway (from Sat. 19th) Tulipa 'Monte Carlo' (left) in the Warm Temperate Biome.

17/03/05 The first sheets of copper for the roof of the Education Resource Centre are rising up the ladder and into place. Once completed it will present a glowing image.
17/03/05 Colour Explosion is nearly ready for action, I hope to get down on Saturday and see what's happening in there.
17/03/05 The cob fern seat and shelter have come on amazingly since my last visit.
17/03/05 The makeover commences on Apple 1 car park. A selection of some of the most amazing Easter Eggs are available at the Eden shop.
10/03/05 Work progresses on the Colour Explosion exhibition due to open on the 19th March
09/03/05 Peach blossom and the freesia display in the Warm Temperate Biome.
09/03/05 Moroccan Red restaurant is open again with a new menu. National no smoking day exhibit in the WTB complete with growing tobacco plants and tub of the weed!
09/03/05 The fern-seat plan and construction so far.
The Education Resource Centre roof is nearly finished, just the Copper to be fitted when it arrives. Just testing out the zoom of my new camera to give a close up of the roof fitting.
This was Apple one car park, which is now having a make over with some amazing over and under pathways to be built, it will also feature a three coach drop off point.
09/03/05 Getting ready for Easter, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen has worked with Eden to create a kaleidoscope of colour in the Dome Tent. Under the ice rink canopy it is all action.
09/03/05 The log cabin has moved to the opposite side of the canopy, wood flooring is being fitted and partitions are being built to house the various colourful and hands on exhibits.
09/03/05 The flags are back again this year and were being planted today.
03/03/05 Two pictures from the HTB just testing out my new Nikon Coolpix 8800 camera
03/03/05 Home made pasty's and Cornish baked potatoes make a good lunch, no! bamboo shoots are not on the menu, these giant bamboos can be seen in the HTB.
30/03/05 The Education Resource Centre is getting a lot of attention from passing visitors even the odd friendly wave or two to the builders as well.
03/03/05 Work stops a number of times, as passing visitors see and get chatting about the construction of the mud fern seat.
03/03/05 Many thousands of books new and old were on show and for sale. A number of authors were there signing and reading from their books at different times of the day. Eden's own published books, of which there are now a good number, were well featured.
03/03/05 World book day, Jo Readman telling a story to a school group in the Gallery.
03/03/05 The staff HQ hidden from view behind the Biomes has a tree covered balcony.
03/03/05 In the WTB the freesia's are almost in full bloom and the tulips are starting to show their colours.
03/03/05 Eden begins to bloom again.
