18/10/03 'Carla' an Eden Guide is stripping stinging nettle stalks of their outer coverings ready for boiling in potash! Why - to produce fine fibres, which were thought to have been used in this Country way back in time, to make a yarn that could be woven after spinning. The nettle stalks are much like flax and can be treated in the same way.

08/10/03 The move goes on from East to West. The Partnership tent has gone to make way for the relocated toilet block, again from the East end of Eden, to make way for the new expansion and education building, which is about to start.

05/09/03 You got to hand it to him 'Bill Woroath' that is, the sculptor of these root hands, to be seen in one of the small garden shed type buildings at the East end of the Eden site. The leaves to these roots are on the underside of the building. This exhibit is quite eerie.
05/09/03 Eden in the Garden Exhibit, that will be open shortly - DNA Double Helix was discovered 50 years ago and this exhibition will celebrate that fact, among other things.
