The foundations for the 'Mechanical Theatre' were being laid today. 27/03/07 Farhays concrete was extremely busy bringing in cement for the foundation for the Mechanical Theatre. Daffodils are putting on a beautiful show all around Eden. 03/03/07 Eden Gold is one of the fullest headed and most buttery yellow of all the daffodils, whilst this delicate, wild and very beautiful tulip also blooms in the WTB. 03/03/07 The Eden plant balcony, full of living plants to take home. Local cheese on sale in the Eden Shop. 22/02/07 Tim, introducing James Lovelock and Richard Mabey for tonight's talk 'A Conversation' on The Countryside and global warming, "weather" we like it or not it's happening. 22/02/07 After the talk and question time members from the packed gallery of "Friends" were thrilled to get their books personally signed by James, author of 'Gaia and the Revenge of Gaia' 22/02/07 Richard Mabey author of Eden's Fencing Paradise and Flora Britannica. 20/02/07 Daffodils line the entrance walkways as crocus bloom in the gentle spring sunshine. 20/02/07 There's definitely a feeling of spring in the air and the Med Biome is a blaze of early colour. 20/02/07 This mass of blossom from potted bulbs is a treat to the eyes and nose! The first of the tulips are showing too. 'Tulipa Princeps' 20/02/07 Jane Knight, Eden's in-house landscape architect with plans for the Banrock Station 'Garden of Ideas' that will soon be completed with the help of Dublin and friends. 20/02/07 The red brick road of the 'Garden of Ideas' 14/02/07 Valentines day, blue skies and daffodils. 14/02/07 The first of the crocus are welcoming in the spring as is the Peach blossom in the Med Biome. 05/02/07 Titan Arum in full bloom in the Rain Forest biome. 03/02/07 During this exceptionally mild early February the daffodils are already making a good display. In the Rain Forest Biome the jungle is coming into flower.
