07/09/05 Some real estate for sale, in a good location for access to the Eden Project.

 

07/09/05 The stage has now been lowered, tricky work laying the flooring slabs in place.

 

06/09/06 Shady steps on the way to the Biomes. The 'jungle' of stage supports over the forgotten lake are required to be lowered for the ice rink reconstruction.

06/09/05 Solar energy generated by the 'Core'  The Core attracted a lot of visitors on a sunny September day.

 

06/09/05 I always think boxes are exciting, as they are offloaded, wheeled or carried into The Core I ponder on what may be inside each one.

 

06/09/05 'Bex' was bound to be there among the boxes.

 

01/09/05 The vast exhibit hall of the new Education Resource Centre 'The Core' opened it's doors for the first time to the public this morning, this building alone is worth a visit to the Eden Project.  The official full opening, will be on the 19th of September. No more pictures will be published until the official opening, so if you want to see more, come to Eden now.

01/09/05 Cleaning up the site of the temporary education buildings and the summer flags coming down around the Arena.

 

01/09/05 Tobacco harvest in the Warm Temperate Biome. Arriving safely at the end of the zip wire ride.

 

27/08/05 British Sea Power opened the last of this seasons 'Sessions at Eden.' This is their second appearance here and the crowd gave them a very warm welcome.

26/08/05 Lady Sovereign were first on stage, the early crowd were in good spirits and the mood continued throughout the evening.

19/08/05 A crowd of some 5000 visitors welcomed Hard Fi onto the stage at the start of the Embrace Concert. As usual the illuminations were amazing and an incredible nightscape was created.

19/08/05 The sun shines and the stage is set for tonight's concert featuring Embrace.

 

15/08/05 Tree sculptures on the zigzag pathway. Jill's vegetable garden now re-established alongside the Zubb Zubb cafe.

 

15/08/05 Alfresco eating outside of the Moroccan Red Restaurant. As you make your way down to the Biomes the shady steps make a pleasant area to stop for your picnic lunch.

 

15/08/05 Landscaping around the Education Resource Centre Building is just about finished. This is an amazing building holds many secrets and all will be revealed at the press launch in early September.  Watch this space for pictures as soon as the wraps come off.

 

15/08/05 The Zip Wire attracts a steady flow of visitors.  Wine tasting in the Eden shop is very popular with thirsty shoppers as they pass the Banrock Station stand.

 

08/08/05 All the summer blues at Eden.

 

08/08/05 Dahlias  in the Warm Temperate Biome.  Sunflowers, the flowers of summer, to be found in the Eden garden.

 

02/08/05 Mark Carwardine gave a talk to friends of Eden in the Gallery at 6.30pm

 

02/08/05 The talk covered his experiences with wild animals and wild people, Mark's books were on sale after the talk, I gathered all three for my collection. www.markcarwarine.com

 

01/08/05 Queuing to get into the Keane concert, ticketing soon got the 5000 or so through the gates. Eager punters waiting for the first group to appear.

 

01/08/05 First on stage were the 'Breakmakers' a very talented group and much enjoyed by the crowd and myself.

 

01/08/05 Next on stage at 8.45pm were the 'Editors' Fairly heavy rock with trouser turn-up vibrating bass, it was Keanes turn at 10pm and the concert ended at 11.15pm

 

01/08/05 Keane live on stage, yet another magical Eden Session, this one sent tingles down your spine as you listened and watched in absolute awe.

 

01/08/05 With Eden's maximum crowd capacity of 5000 on site good humoured Keane fans supported the band from every viewing point.
